First Aid Courses
Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and HSE(NI) approved and certificated First Aid courses in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and HSE(NI) regulations 1982
Our First Aid training courses are a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical sessions that are designed to develop ability and practical confidence. A legally required course for employers or a valuable addition to your CV to make yourself more employable.
We use the very best instructors all of whom have a wealth of experience in their subject knowledge and come from an operational first aid background – including Nurses, Military Medics and Fire Fighters.
First Aid training can be undertaken at your business premises or at one of our venues.
First Aid at Work
Overview: Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace . This course can be tailored to individual industries and working patterns e.g clerical or engineering staff one day per week over three weeks.
Duration: 24 hours targeted teaching time and includes both theory and practical sessions
First Aid at Work Reclassification
Overview: This course allows for re-certification of First Aid at Work qualified staff to administer first aid in a prompt, safe and effective way. It enables skills and any change to protocols during their initial qualification to be updated.
Duration: First Aid at Work reclassification course consists of 16 hours of learning followed by an independent assessment on the final day.
Active First Aid
Overview: Specifically designed for those who are involved in physical activities, including sports, leisure and recreation and include Basic Life Support , hypothermia, head injuries, sprains and strains to diabetes and asthma.
For practitioners involved in sporting activities and prepare them to competently administer basic first aid.
Duration: Delivered for 16 hours over flexible days within 4 week period
Emergency First Aid (First Responder, FPOS)
Overview: The Emergency First Aid course is designed to teach how to deal with an emergency when you are the first qualified person at the scene of an accident until the emergency services arrive.
Duration: Ideal course for Carers, Security, Retail professionals or to enhance your CV
